I am back. It’s been a while since I last touched this blog and as you can see, I’ve made some changes! I decided to change up my blog website to freshen things up and to align more with my current style. I thought this would be a great time to do it since I wanted to get back into blogging and posting a lot more.
Looking back on how long it's been since I last posted on this site makes me a little sad. I really used this as a journal to document my process and my journey. But don’t worry, just because I haven't been writing, doesn't mean I have abandoned my self-care journey! I just haven't been able to document the things I've learnt and the areas I want to explore.
Since I’ve been gone, I took some time to assess areas of my life and make a lot of changes. One of the major changes in my life has been quitting my 9-5 and starting my own business. I had written about it before on how work was a major stressor of mine and this was something I needed to do this for myself and most especially my mental health. It took a lot of courage and hard work to really get things going. Naturally with starting a new business, it’s a lot of work and therefore all my time and energy has gone toward that. Which meant that my blogging had been put to the side for a while. But once I got into a place where I could shift some of my time and focus away from the business and back towards things that I was originally writing about, I was able to take some time and do a lot of learning.
I wasn’t sure what it was that I wanted to learn more about, but just that I wanted it to be about ways I can change my everyday life to be more environmentally friendly and live a more sustainable lifestyle. All the while also being more mindful and living in the moment. I have learnt a lot about many different topics that I feel really strongly towards and they have inspired me to come back to blogging and write about them in hopes that I can spread the knowledge that I’ve learnt to my readers. Most importantly the newest addition to my content is food and sustainability. I am very passionate to bring awareness around what our food is doing to the planet and how we can make small changes to live a more sustainable life. All my regular content will stay the same. I’ll still write about my journey of self-love and self-care but I also want to sprinkle in any and all things I’ve learnt about food and sustainable living. I hope this new change is good for everyone as it has been for me and I look forward to sharing new topics and ideas with everyone.
Thank you for reading and until next time.
